LSGA offers a variety of glass art classes for every skill level throughout the year. We have a large, well-appointed teaching studio in the McNally Community Centre with a huge range of tools for working with glass.
Our instructors are experienced glass artists who enjoy sharing their talents with students at any level of experience. Please see below for current class offerings, and check our Calendar of events for other events that we are hosting at our studio and in the community.

Fused Glass Night Light – Kit Class
Come hang out with us for 2-3 hours of creativity and fun as we design and make custom fused glass panels for night lights. I will have everything you need – just show up, get crafty, and head home with a one-of-a-kind light made by you! Registration Fee is $60.00

This Stained Glass Class is designed to teach people how to choose or create a design; cut glass; wrap it in lead came or copper foil and solder it together to produce a finished hanging or standing stained glass item. No experience is required. Course Fee: $250 plus the cost of supplies.

Fused Glass Pocket Vase with Frit Flower
It’s Kit Class time again! Come hang out with us for 2-3 hours of creativity and fun as we make the ever-popular Pocket Vase. I will have everything you need – just show up, get crafty, and create a one-of-a-kind piece of art! Course Fee: $75.00. This includes all supplies and tools required to complete one Pocket Vase and one Flower base.

Create Your Own Fused Glass Embellishments
If you have taken an introductory fused glass class and want to take glass fusing to the next level then this workshop is for you! We’ve learned that part of the fun of fused glass is creating your own embellishments. We’d love to share what we’ve learned to help you create beautiful, unique art pieces. Course Fee: $60.00 – all glass supplies and tools are included except face mask/respirator.

Fused Snowman Coaster
This workshop is offered to both members of LSGA with basic skills in glass and non-members who are wanting to try a new art form. Deadline for registration is January 18, 2025.

REGISTRATION: To inquire about registering for upcoming classes, or to inquire about private group classes, please fill out the Class Registration Request Form below. You will be contacted by a member of our Education Team to complete your registration and arrange payment if needed once your registration has been confirmed.
Please Note: Closed toe shoes are mandatory in our teaching studio. Long pants are also strongly recommended.
