LSGA offers a variety of glass art classes for every skill level throughout the year. We have a large, well-appointed teaching studio in the McNally Community Centre with a huge range of tools for working with glass.
Our instructors are experienced glass artists who enjoy sharing their talents with students at any level of experience. Please see below for current class offerings, and check our Calendar of events for other events that we are hosting at our studio and in the community.

Current Classes
Garden Lanterns With Fused Glass
Come and create your own garden lantern using fused glass! This course is open to anyone with a love of glass (no previous glass experience necessary). All equipment and materials to create 1 white or 1 silver lantern are included in the cost of the class. 2 Sessions available, May 20th OR May 30th from 6-9pm. Cost: $90
Mosaic Garden Stone (part 1)
Come make your own mosaic garden stone using stained glass. This is a 2-part, 8-hour class. The first part is for laying your pattern on a paving stone and
the second part will be for grouting your stone. This class is open to anyone, no previous glass experience required! Cost for the class is $180.
Fusing Fundamentals (day 1)
This two-session, 6-hour introductory class will appeal to members of LSGA who have some experience with cutting glass and using grinders, but are NEW to the art of fusing, though special arrangements can be made to accommodate students who lack experience with cutting glass or using the grinders. Cost for the class is $180.

This Stained Glass Class is designed to teach people of all levels of expertise how to choose or create a design.

Fused Snowman Coaster
This workshop is offered to both members of LSGA with basic skills in glass and non-members who are wanting to try a new art form. Deadline for registration is January 18, 2025.

Please Note: Closed toe shoes are mandatory in our teaching studio. Long pants are also strongly recommended.
