The Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans (LSGA) is a non-profit society of glass artists in Southern Alberta, Canada. LSGA participates in community education projects through exhibits, workshops, and classes. We also host and participate in a number of sales throughout the year. Our society is supported by a grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) and is a member of the Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge.

LSGA, formerly known as the Lethbridge Society of Stained Glass Artisans, was formed on June 4th, 1990 as a group of stained glass artisans aiming to educate and promote this age-old art form. On November 24th, 2012, we became the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans in recognition of the growing diversity of glass arts practiced by our members.

We currently have a large teaching studio at McNally Community Centre as part of their Artist Studios. This is where we hold our meetings, run workshops and classes, as well as host some of the sales that we participate in yearly. For information on classes and events, please click here.

LSGA hosts monthly meetings from 10am-12pm on the fourth Saturday of each month apart from December, July, and August. We also hold our Annual General Meeting in June. Monthly meetings are typically followed by a potluck for any members who may wish to participate, and are a great opportunity to meet and discuss glass with other artists. Each meeting includes both a show-and-share portion for anybody who has projects to show or ask about, and an Education portion for free learning opportunities. Many informal “ask an expert” sessions take place at and after our meetings! For more information on becoming a member, please click here.
