Murrine Fused Glass Suncatcher/Framed

Create a beautiful garden, vase, or heart using vitrograph, murrine from Tabitha’s Glass Emporium in Croatia, frit and nuggets. Your imagination comes to life!
This is a class for all levels and no prerequisites is required. Just come with your imagination and creativity.
Instructor will be Mercy Robertson, glass fuser. Mercy has been playing with glass for over 3 years. She is passionate and fearless about glass and is always experimenting. She loves sharing her knowledge with all her students, both successes and failures. She is all about having fun with glass.
This class will run with a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 12.

Monday, March 2nd from 6-9:30pm.
LOCATION
Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center / McNally Artist Studios, just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map here or on the Location page of this website).
Please enter from the North, ground-level door at the back (East/parking lot) side of the building. There is an LSGA sign on this door.
REGISTRATION & INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION
Cost is $75 and includes all supplies for a 5×7 project. If you want to frame your project, please advise and come with your frame. Various glass shapes (heart, oval, circle, or rectangle) and base glass colours (Celadon Green, Hydrangea Blue, White, and Clear) will be offered.
Please register by email to macquah@shaw.ca with $40 refundable deposit. Please specify your preferred base glass color and shape with your registration. Remainder is due on day of the class. If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible.
OTHER DETAILS
For safety reasons, closed toe shoes are required in the studio.
Please be aware that this is a working studio and there is a possibility that LSGA members may at times access the space during a class.
Memberships in the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans are only $75.00 and come with many benefits, including early access to class registration.
