Learn to Make Stained Glass Suncatchers

Pack a lunch and spend a day learning how to make quick and easy stained glass suncatchers using glass and lead came.
Material will be supplied to make at least 4 suncatchers each to take home.
No experience required. Bring your mother, a friend or family member….have some fun!

* Learn the pattern techniques for making sun catchers
* Learn the finishing touches which will bring your pieces to life
* Learn how you can safely hang or stand your works of art
* Learn how to handle lead came
* Choose from countless pattern kits

Liz Allen has over 40 years experience working with stained glass in both the lead and copper foil techniques. She is a longstanding member of LSGA.

**THREE DIFFERENT CLASS OPTIONS ARE BEING OFFERED**

OPTION ONE: Friday, May 8th, 2026 from 10am – 3pm

OR

OPTION TWO: Saturday, May 9th, 2026 from 10am – 3pm

OR

OPTION ONE: Sunday, May 10th, 2026 from 10am – 4pm

LOCATION

Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center / McNally Artist Studios, just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map here or on the Location page of this website).
Please enter from the North, ground-level door at the back (East/parking lot) side of the building. There is an LSGA sign on this door.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION FEES $80.00 + kit fees
Purchase Suncatcher kits of your choice for $5.00 to $15.00 each

OTHER DETAILS

For safety reasons, closed toe shoes are required in the studio.

Please be aware that this is a working studio and there is a possibility that LSGA members may at times access the space during a class.

Memberships in the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans are only $75.00 and come with many benefits, including early access to class registration.
