Kiln Sculpting With Fused Glass Class (CLASS FULL – wait list only)
March 21 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
This course is open to anyone with a love for glass. Kiln Sculpting is a simple but effective technique that requires cutting or carving a pattern with fiber paper (special paper used in glass fusing that can withstand the high temperatures of a glass kiln). You place a piece of transparent glass over your carved fiber paper and fire both together to create a 3-dimensional piece of glass art. To create details, you can use cuts and layering of your fiber paper.
All equipment will be supplied and included in the cost of the class. Students will be notified via email when their art piece is ready to be picked up.
