Fused Glass Spring Murrine Bouquet (CLASS IS FULL)
April 5 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Create a fused glass spring bouquet of flowers and display it in a 5×7 frame (included). Each student will design their own flowerpot or vase using glass and fill it with colourful vitrograph stringers and beautiful murrine from Tabitha’s Glass Emporium in Croatia. Basic understanding of the fusing process and a touch of imagination is required to participate!
All equipment will be supplied and included in the cost of the class. Students will be notified by the instructor when their art piece is ready to be picked up following firing in the kiln.

LOCATION
Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map on the Location page of this website).

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION FEES $50.00 per person. Students will create 1 5×7 framed piece.
Maximum of 6 students per class.

Catherine Colodey first became interested in murrine while taking Anna’s Intro to Fusing class. To say the interest has grown would be an understatement and she is ready to help you to discover all that can be done with murrine and glass etceteras!

OTHER DETAILS
For safety reasons, closed toe shoes are required in the studio.
Please be aware that this is a working studio and there is a possibility that LSGA members may at times access the space during a class.
Lethbridge Society of Stained Glass Memberships are only $60.00 and come with many benefits. To use kilns and make additional glass projects at our studio outside of specific classes, active LSGA membership and the completion of a Basic Fused Glass class is required.
