**FULL** Soldering Workshop

Pat McNeill, together with LSGA, is offering a Soldering Workshop to people with stained glass experience who would like to improve their soldering and become more comfortable with the soldering process.

Time will be spent helping students to understand how soldering irons vary, which solder to use, the different kinds of fluxes, etc., but the core of this class will be hands on soldering, using jump rings, tinning the outer edge of a project and learning or improving on how to wire wrap a glass project.  

Students will take home a completed small Christmas tree ornament or the material and confidence to complete the project on their own.

Date/Time: 10am-1:30pm on either Saturday, December 14th OR Sunday, December 15th

Location: Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map on the Location page of this website).

The cost of the 3 1/2-hour class is $40. All material will be provided, students just need to show up with a smile and plenty of patience.

Minimum class numbers will be 3 and max 7.  There will be one instructor and one assistant.  Fee is requested upon registration; in the event of inclement weather or circumstances beyond the instructor’s control this class may be canceled and/or rescheduled.
