Beginners Fused Glass Class
June 13 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Discover the art of kilnformed fused glass in a fun, hands-on class designed for beginners and returning creators alike. With step-by-step instruction and all tools and materials provided, you’ll learn the essential techniques for working with sheet glass, frit, stringers, and glass powders. You’ll also gain an understanding of firing schedules and why different temperatures and timings matter in the kiln. No previous experience is required — just relax, create, and enjoy the process. If you’d like extra practice with glass cutting before class, arrangements can be made.
Carol Ursel has been enjoying glass for over 20 years and is a member of the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans.
