DESCRIPTION:Spend time with us at our studio to see why we love working with glass – No Experience Necessary! We are offering a different class every month to give you a Taste of Glass. Each class will be a 2-3 hour class depending on the project. DESCRIPTION:Pat McNeill\, together with LSGA\, is offering a Soldering Workshop to people with stained glass experience who would like to improve their soldering and become more comfortable with the soldering process.  \n\n\n\nTime will be spent helping students to understand how soldering irons vary\, which solder to use\, the different kinds of fluxes\, etc.\, but the core of this class will be hands on soldering\, using jump rings\, tinning the outer edge of a project and learning or improving on how to wire wrap a glass project.    \n\n\n\nStudents will take home a completed small Christmas tree ornament or the material and confidence to complete the project on their own. \n\n\n\nDate/Time: 10am-1:30pm on either  Saturday\, December 14th OR Sunday\, December 15th \n\n\n\nLocation: Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map on the Location page of this website). \n\n\n\nThe cost of the 3 1/2-hour class is $40. All material will be provided\, students just need to show up with a smile and plenty of patience. \n\n\n\nMinimum class numbers will be 3 and max 7.  There will be one instructor and one assistant.  Fee is requested upon registration; in the event of inclement weather or circumstances beyond the instructor’s control this class may be canceled and/or rescheduled. \n\n\n\nPlease call Pat at: 403-329-0262 or email her at: plmcneill53@gmail.com for more information about this course and to register. SUMMARY:MEMBERS ONLY: Holiday Open House
DESCRIPTION:LSGA is happy to announce a ‘Holiday Open House’ on the 21st of December for all members.  This is a chance for members to stop by one member’s house and share a coffee and see how one of our members incorporates her glass addiction into Christmas decorating.  She also has a glass area set up in her basement\, so members can check out her dual-purpose fusing and stained-glass setup.  \n\n\n\nDrop in is from 1 – 4PM on Saturday\, December 21st.  \n\n\n\nIf you think you might attend\, please email Pat so that she has an idea of how many people to expect (if you’re not planning on attending\, no need to email Pat). \n\n\n\nPS – You will probably need a break from shopping/children/spouses by then\, so if at the last minute you decide to come\, no problem! \n\n\n\n**Members\, please see your emails for specifics and contact information as needed.
