There is a maximum of 8 participants per class. \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME\n\n\n\nThree separate classes will be offered:  \n\n\n\nFriday\, December 5th from 10am to 4pm  ORSaturday\, December 6th from 10am to 4pm  ORSunday\, December 7th from 10am to 4pm \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION & INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION\n\n\n\nThe instructor fee is $80. Additional costs include your choice of a wide variety of kits with pre-cut glass and everything you need to make your chose pieces. Kits vary in price from $5 to $10 each. SUMMARY:Working With Glass Powder (Day 3)
DESCRIPTION:This class is intended for new and experienced glass workers who would liketo explore a variety of ways to use powder to create images and textureson glass.The objectives for the course are to:– Create a crackle bowl– Create freeze and fuse elements– Create glass wafers– Create images using glass powder \n\n\n\nDuring the class you will have the opportunity to create one 5-inch cracklebowl\, one 5 X 10 “painting”\, as well as some freeze and fuse elements andglass wafers. \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME\n\n\n\nFriday\, October 24th from 6-8:30pm ANDSunday\, October 26th from 12-3pm AND Tuesday\, October 28th from 6-8:30pm \n\n\n\nSUPPLIES NEEDED\n\n\n\n\nMaterials kit from instructor (see details below)\n\n\n\nN95 Mask (required when working with powders)\n\n\n\nPencil\, paper\, pen\n\n\n\nSafety glasses (can be borrowed from LSGA)\n\n\n\nOPTIONAL: Stencils\, Rubber Stamps\n\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION & INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION\n\n\n\nThe course fee is $85\, as well as a $40 materials kit (Class total: $125). \n\n\n\nTo register\, please contact Kathy at kschw@rocketmail.com or by phone at 403.942.7636.  \n\n\n\nDeadline for Registration:  Friday\, October 17th.  Payment in full must be received by that date. Kathy began working with glass in in 2004.
