No experience is required. DESCRIPTION:It’s Kit Class time again! Come hang out with us for 2-3 hours of creativity and fun as we make the ever-popular Pocket Vase. I will have everything you need – just show up\, get crafty\, and create a one-of-a-kind piece of art! Items will need to be fused in our kilns\, so pick-up will be at least 48 hours after the class. \n\n\n\nYour class host will be Carol Ursel who has been enjoying glass for over 20 years and is a member of the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans. \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME\n\n\n\nWednesday\, March 11th from 6:30-9pm. DESCRIPTION:Create a beautiful garden\, vase\, or heart using vitrograph\, murrine from Tabitha’s Glass Emporium in Croatia\, frit and nuggets. Your imagination comes to life!This is a class for all levels and no prerequisites is required. Just come with your imagination and creativity. \n\n\n\nInstructor will be Mercy Robertson\, glass fuser. Mercy has been playing with glass for over 3 years. She is passionate and fearless about glass and is always experimenting. DESCRIPTION:If you have taken an introductory fused glass class and want to take glass fusing to the next level then this workshop is for you! We’ve learned that part of the fun of fused glass is creating your own embellishments. We’d love to share what we’ve learned to help you create beautiful\, unique art pieces. In this workshop students will learn how to:  \n\n\n\n\nCreate details with freeze and fuse\n\n\n\nUse modeling glass in molds\n\n\n\nUse modeling glass to create freestyle\, unique designs.\n\n\n\nUse Glassline paint\n\n\n\nCreate glass wafers using powder.\n\n\n\nLearn tips for creating and using glass stringers\n\n\n\n\nStudents will take home a variety of embellishments for future projects. \n\n\n\nDenise Marcotte has been working with kiln formed glass for a few years. She enjoys exploring the creative possibility of fused glass using powders and enamels and using them to build mainly landscapes and nature themes. \n\n\n\nMerrill Wight loves working with fused glass and a variety of mediums to enhance her creations.
