DESCRIPTION:This Stained Glass Class is designed to teach people of all levels of expertise how to choose or create a design; cut glass; wrap it in lead came or copper foil and solder it together to produce a finished stained glass item that can be hung or stood for decoration. \n\n\n\nDate/Time\n\n\n\n\nThursdays (January 9\, 16\, 23\, 30 and February 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\, 2025)7:00pm-9:00pm\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\nLethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map on the Location page of this website). \n\n\n\nAll the tools such as grinders\, soldering irons\, grossing pliers\, glass cutters and other equipment will be provided at the studio. DESCRIPTION:Come join us each month to talk about all things glass! Our monthly meetings are held at our McNally studio and are also typically followed by a potluck for any members who wish to participate. Please bring your own plate and cutlery if joining in the potluck.  \n\n\n\nEach meeting includes both a show-and-share portion for anybody who has projects to show or ask about\, and an Education portion for free learning opportunities. Many informal “ask an expert” sessions take place at and after our meetings\, and suggestions and/or volunteers for the Education portion are always welcome.

SUMMARY:Valentine Heart with a Twist
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is to help people feel more comfortable with the complete stained-glass process while creating a fun Valentine heart.  \n\n\n\n3 1/2 Hour Class: Sunday February 1nd \, 10AM – 1:30PM \n\n\n\nPrerequisite – must have taken at least a beginner-stained glass class.   \n\n\n\nStudents will be supplied with all material needed to complete this heart\, they will complete it as a garden stake or a hanger and then black patina and polish.  There will be 2 skilled instructors to help guide students through the complete process and plenty of time to ask questions.  Emphasis will be placed on completing the project – the finishing process is a major part of this workshop.  There will be some instructions on cutting glass\, grinding\, soldering\, patina and finishing\, but mostly students will be working on their own project\, listening to tips and helpful hints.   \n\n\n\nThis class will be held at LSGA’s Studio at the McNally Community Center\, just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map on the Location page of this website). \n\n\n\nThe fee for this class is $40 and is due at registration.  Refund is possible up to 5 days before the workshop\, weather is the exception – fee will be refunded if students cannot attend an alternative date.  If interested\, please email Pat at plmcneill53@gmail.com \n\n\n\nLethbridge Society of Stained Glass Memberships are only $60.00 and come with many benefits. \n\n\n\nCheck us out on Facebook and Instagram: Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans

DESCRIPTION:This Stained Glass Class is designed to teach people of all levels of expertise how to choose or create a design; cut glass; wrap it in lead came or copper foil and solder it together to produce a finished stained glass item that can be hung or stood for decoration. \n\n\n\nDate/Time\n\n\n\n\nTuesdays  (January 7\, 14\, 21\, 28 and February 4\, 11\, 18\, 25\, 2025)10:45am-12:45pm\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\nLethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map on the Location page of this website). \n\n\n\nAll the tools such as grinders\, soldering irons\, grossing pliers\, glass cutters and other equipment will be provided at the studio. DESCRIPTION:Come join us each month to talk about all things glass! Our monthly meetings are held at our McNally studio and are also typically followed by a potluck for any members who wish to participate. Please bring your own plate and cutlery if joining in the potluck.  \n\n\n\nEach meeting includes both a show-and-share portion for anybody who has projects to show or ask about\, and an Education portion for free learning opportunities. Many informal “ask an expert” sessions take place at and after our meetings\, and suggestions and/or volunteers for the Education portion are always welcome.
