DESCRIPTION:Here’s your chance to create a beautiful garden lantern using vitrograph\, freeze and fuse elements of flowers\, leaves\, birds\, and butterflies\, as well as glass nuggets and frit.  \n\n\n\nThis class is for anyone who wants to create a beautiful original usable art piece. There are no prerequisites for this class – just register\, come and have fun. Each participant will create a 4-sided lantern that will be finished with fairy lights. This course will run with 8 participants\, up to a maximum of 12 participants. \n\n\n\nThis class is hosted by Mercy Robertson glass fuser and LSGA member. Mercy has a passion for glass. She fearless and constantly attempting new ideas and experimenting with all things glass.  \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME\n\n\n\nMonday\, April 20 th from 6-9:30pm \n\n\n\nLOCATION\n\n\n\nLethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center / McNally Artist Studios\, just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map here or on the Location page of this website).Please enter from the North\, ground-level door at the back (East/parking lot) side of the building. There is an LSGA sign on this door. \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION & INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION\n\n\n\nCost is $100 per student per lantern. Cost includes all supplies and fairy lights to create one lantern. There are no additional costs for this project. \n\n\n\nTo register\, please email Mercy at macquah@shaw.ca  with your name\, cell phone number\, and email address. DESCRIPTION:This Stained Glass Class is designed to teach people how to choose or create a design; cut glass; wrap it in lead came or copper foil and solder it together to produce a finished hanging or standing stained glass item. No experience is required. Beginners will soon learn the techniques used by the experienced returning artisans.Arrangements can be made with Liz for some pre-class support with a $10 kit whichwill offer the skills required for the class.Liz Allen has been creating\, repairing and teaching stained glass for over 40 years. She is a long-standing member of the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans. \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME\n\n\n\n**THREE DIFFERENT CLASS OPTIONS ARE BEING OFFERED** \n\n\n\nOPTION ONE: Tuesday DAYS: March 10 –  April 28th\, 2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm \n\n\n\nOR \n\n\n\nOPTION TWO: Tuesday EVENINGS: March 10- April 28 th from 7-9pm \n\n\n\nOR \n\n\n\nOPTION THREE: Thursday EVENINGS: March 12 – April 30th from 7-9pm \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION & INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION\n\n\n\nEIGHT WEEK REGISTRATION FEE $250.00All the tools such as grinders\, soldering irons\, grozing pliers\, glass cutters and otherequipment will be provided at the studio.Supplies required will be Glass (available at the studio for students to purchase for $20.00/square foot)Other supplies will be made available by the instructor and include:– 1 roll of 60/40 Solder (approximately $25.00 per spool)– 1 roll of copper foil (approximately $15 per roll) or U channel lead CameReliable sources for supplies will be discussed in class.Students will also be required to bring their own pencil\, pen\, graph paper\, a permanent sharpie marker\, Mac Tac paper\, and a smooth plywood work board with an L-shaped solid border that fits your project.Call Liz or text her at 587-220-5834 or email at gogogirl.liz@gmail.com for registration and information about this course. SUMMARY:Fused Glass Pocket Vase with Frit Flowers
DESCRIPTION:It’s Kit Class time again! Come hang out with us for 2-3 hours of creativity and fun as we make the ever-popular Pocket Vase. I will have everything you need – just show up\, get crafty\, and create a one-of-a-kind piece of art! Items will need to be fused in our kilns\, so pick-up will be at least 48 hours after the class. \n\n\n\nYour class host will be Carol Ursel who has been enjoying glass for over 20 years and is a member of the Lethbridge Society of Glass Artisans. \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME\n\n\n\nWednesday\, March 11th from 6:30-9pm. Projects will be available for pick-up at least 48 hours after class to allow for projects to be fired and cooled. \n\n\n\nLOCATION\n\n\n\nLethbridge Society of Glass Artisans Studio at McNally Community Center / McNally Artist Studios\, just past Evergreen Golf Course (see map here or on the Location page of this website).Please enter from the North\, ground-level door at the back (East/parking lot) side of the building. There is an LSGA sign on this door. \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION & INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION\n\n\n\nRegistration Fee $75.00 – This includes all supplies and tools required to complete one Pocket Vase and one Flower base.Further assembly of the flower will be needed and can be discussed. \n\n\n\nPlease contact Carol @ 403-381-3381 with any inquiries. The refundable $40.00 deposit to hold your spot can be etransferred to carolursel@hotmail.com. Refundable balance payable one week prior to class.Maximum class size is 9 students.
